Classes
Classes at Community Church are designed to deepen our relationship with God and our knowledge of His Word and principles for living. Newcomers are encouraged to join the journey courses. As classes grow and fill up we need new leaders to volunteer so we can continue to offer classes to more people.

The Journey

This class will center on our Christian foundation and its teachings. It is open to all, but newcomers are especially encouraged to attend. For those who desire membership, this class is a requirement.

The Good & Beautiful Community
Teacher: Pastor Daniel Rose

This class is designed to compliment both "The Good and Beautiful God" and "The Good and Beautiful Life" helping people in their efforts to grow in Christ likeness. This series is built on transformation that includes mental (changing narratives), physical (practicing spiritual exercises), communal (doing the first two in the context of community), and a spiritual side (the work of the Holy Spirit). We will use James Bryan Smith's book, "The Good and Beautiful Community" to explore and implement practices that solidify our commitment to growing spiritually together. |

Philippians & Colossians

This study will teach us how to love as Jesus loved, live as Jesus lived and serve as Jesus served. It will also cover practical living, warnings and exhortations.

In the Dust of the Rabbi

Come discover through these faith lessons how to follow Jesus, as you walk with teacher and historian Ray Vander Laan through the breathtaking terrain of Israel and Turkey and explore what it really means to be a disciple.

Cleansing Stream Discipleship Year One

The purpose of this class is to disciple maturing believers in personal cleansing, deliverance, and spiritual warfare so they can be released to serve and minister to others. Attendance in the previous quarter's class is a prerequisite for this session. |

Intercessory Prayer

This class will focus on all the different types of prayer giftings, imparting greater knowledge into our personal prayer lives. it will also include guidelines and preparation for corporate intercession.

Biblical Foundations
Teacher: Eric Bush

This study will focus on the classic Bible stories of Genesis and Exodus. By taking a closer look at these stories that not only expose the sins of the patriarchs but praise their obedience they prove God's faithfulness since the Creation. If you want to strengthen your biblical foundation, this class is for you.

Healing of Chemical Dependency

Those with addictive personalities who are in the process of maintaining victory over alcohol and drug abuse are urged to attend this support group. A study book is required which costs $16.
